Three services, each with a clear scope and a stated fee
We work on pension reviews, recalculation disputes, and long settlement planning. Nothing broader; nothing narrower.
Back to HomeHow we conduct every matter
We begin by reading everything that is relevant to the client's position — the pension statements, the CPF records, any correspondence from the relevant body, and any earlier assessments the client may have received. We do not give an opinion before we have done this.
After the initial review, we give the client a written summary of what we have found. If there is a question about whether a recalculation is correct, we describe the basis of our concern and explain what the applicable rules require. If there is no apparent error, we say so plainly. We do not find problems where none exist.
From that point, the client decides what to do. We explain the options, the likely steps, and the costs at each stage. We proceed only with the client's informed agreement at each significant juncture.
Pension Stratum Review
A layered written review of your pension position, produced as a stratigraphy — an ordered description of each layer of your retirement holdings, from the foundational CPF accounts upwards through any supplementary schemes and private arrangements.
The aim is to give you a settled, easily readable picture from which any later questions can be approached without confusion. Many clients find this a useful starting point before any other decision is made.
What is included
- Written stratigraphy of all pension and CPF holdings
- Description of each layer from CPF to supplementary schemes
- Identification of gaps or apparent inconsistencies
- Plain language summary for easy reference
- Delivered within ten working days of receiving documents
How it works
Recalculation Representation
For clients whose pensions have been recalculated and who wish to understand whether the recalculation is correct in law and in fact. We review the workings, conduct measured correspondence with the relevant body, and act on the client's behalf in any formal process that may follow.
The cost picture is given clearly in advance and is reviewed at each major stage. No further costs are incurred without the client's agreement.
What is included
- Legal and factual review of the recalculation workings
- Written assessment of whether the calculation appears correct
- Measured correspondence with the relevant pension body
- Representation in any formal review or submission process
- Stage-by-stage cost review and client approval
